Goal, Rules and Prize of the Ruhrpumpen Group Identity Slogan Challenge

Goal of the challenge

To define an abbreviated and catchy slogan that facilitates the appropriation and disemination of Ruhrpumpen's core identity across the entire Ruhrpumpen Group.


Ruhrpumpen's Core Identity:


“Ruhrpumpen is a global manufacturer of engineered pumps, we strive to be our customer’s choice by having a broad line of quality products, being flexible and easy to deal with. We deliver what we promise and under no circumstances we walk away from a problem”.

Rules

  1. Only current Ruhrpumpen employees are allowed to participate. Every participant needs to fill in the required contact information, using his Ruhrpumpen / Corp EG email account.
  2. Each participant is not allowed to participate more than once in the challenge.
  3. Every slogan must comply with the following conditions:
    • Its extension should not exceed 120 characters (including spaces and punctuation marks)
    • It could be phrase, an acronym, or even a single word. The easier to remember and the better it reflects our identity, the more chances it has to win.
    • There are no language barriers. In case the submitted phrase / word is in a language other than English, it is mandatory to use the Explanation field to explain its meaning in English. In case it is an acronym, it should be built out of words in English.
    • It should not have any kind of offensive, discriminatory or inappropriate connotation.
  4. A participant can use the “Explanation” field to clarify / translate the meaning or idea behind his slogan in case needed. Whatever is typed on this field should be in English. This field is limited to 300 characters.
  5. A participant is allowed to edit or change his slogan as many times as desired before the deadline expires. Only those slogans typed in the system by the deadline will be eligible to participate.
  6. The winning slogan will be defined by a committee through a blind voting process; each committee member will submit its votes without knowing who were the authors of the slogans. The committee will be composed of out of RP employees from different functions and geographies.
  7. Top management reserves the right to change or edit the slogan for its companywide deployment. The most voted slogan would get the prize, no matter if the slogan gets modified or changed by top management.
  8. Do not limit your ideas and creativity.
  9. Hurry up! The deadline for submitting your slogan is Wednesday February 6, 2013.
